RaiseUp Parents App

💡 RaiseUp is a platform, designed to help schools simplify fee payments, reconcile payments with ease and automate handling of overdue fees through fee reminders. This platform comes with extra features that allows the schools to also communicate with parents seamlessly and update parents with all the necessary information concerning their wards and the activities within the school.

RaiseUp doesnt just benefit the schools as an institution but also the parents whose wards attend these schools. Parents seamlessly make fee payments at the comfort of wherever they find themselves, be able to have records of their fee payments right on their phones and have the option to download them and also have the options to communicate with the school through the messaging feature and give their comments/opinions on notices the school sends.

The Problem

Many schools had an issue reconciling their finances at the end of every semester and in overall every academic year. Communicating to parents were through mediums like whatsapp where all the important information gets lost in the numerous conversations the parents have on these groups. These schools also use ineffective ways to remind parents of their fee arrears and this method allowed the parent to ignore without any consequences. Parents kids get sacked in the middle of classes to go home till their fees were settled. This posed a risk on the kids as there would be no supervision as they move from school to home in the middle of the school day.
Some parents due to past bad experiences using telcos, long queues at banks or their bank app failing, had to move to the schools to pay school fees in order to prevent any form of delays or disappointment in fulfilling the payment of their childs bills. This was not a convenient way to make payment of their childrens fees as it brought about extra costs like transport fares when moving to the school.
Many parents lose track of their wards bills receipt due to hard copy version of the receipts getting lost in numerous documents around the house. When such receipts are lost, they are no alternate ways to retrieve them, unless they once again go to the school to get a copy.

Create an application that that can help parents seamlessly pay their wards school bills at the comfort of their homes or any location they find themselves.
Parents will have their receipt on this application and have the option to download and go print. Their receipts will always be accessible on the application even if they lose the ones they have printed
The RaiseUp application will help parents get informed on school activities and also have the options to share their comments and opinions with the notices experience we have on RaiseUp that has a like and comment feature.
RaiseUp allows schools send timely fee reminders and also give the parent the option to respond as to the best time the can fulfill bill payments of their wards if deadlines are close or overdue.
Schools and parents have the option to communicate privately using the messaging feature. Parents can reach out to administrators of the schools and communicate their concerns on any issues they have.
